PDI Backhaul Exchange

Heading home empty? Post the trip.

Tell us where the truck starts, where it needs to end up and when. PDI brokers check your trip against open loads on PDI's board. If a load fits, a broker calls you.

How it works

  1. 1

    Post the trip

Enter the start and end city or ZIP code, the days you are available, your equipment and your MC or DOT number. You do not need an account.

  2. 2

    A broker checks the board

PDI brokers see your trip next to open loads with your equipment that pick up within about 75 miles of your start, deliver within about 75 miles of your end, and fit your days.

  3. 3

    You decide

If a load fits, a broker calls you with the details. You decide whether to take it. Nothing is booked for you.

What to expect

  • Posting is free. PDI charges no fee to post a trip.
  • PDI does not book loads or send messages for you. A broker calls only when a load on PDI's board fits your trip.
  • A call is not guaranteed. It depends on the loads posted on PDI's board for your lane and days.
  • Your trip comes off the list after your last available day.
  • Only PDI staff see your trip and contact details. They are not shown on a public page.
