Insurance partner
This is not a job opening in the usual sense. We are not hiring an employee. We are looking for one insurance company or independent agent to become the insurance arm of our platform, and we are posting it here because we want the search to be public and serious.
About PDI Industries
PDI Industries is a freight and logistics platform for independent owner-operators and small fleets across North America. Carriers use us to find loads, get paid the same day through factoring, and apply for the PDI fuel card. A repair network is coming soon. The platform is run by people who have spent their careers in trucking.
Insurance is the one service our carriers need that we will not build ourselves. We know freight. You know coverage. That is the whole idea.
What the role looks like
You become the insurance desk for the platform. In practice, that means:
- Quote requests from our insurance page route directly to you. You quote, you bind, you service the policy. We stay out of your underwriting.
- You write the products our carriers actually need: auto liability and cargo coverage that meets what brokers require (1,000,000 USD liability and 100,000 USD cargo is the standard our carriers run into, not the federal minimum), plus health coverage for owner-operators who have no group plan and no HR department.
- Your qualification requirements get published on our site, so carriers arrive with the right paperwork the first time: driver and CDL details, three years of accident and violation history, equipment VINs and values, prior coverage where it exists.
- You get first look at every carrier who joins. Each one needs proof of insurance before booking a load, including the first-year authorities that established agencies tend to ignore.
- When a carrier has a coverage question at a shipper's gate, or a claim at 2am, your team handles it and ours knows who to call. We will put your contact in front of our carriers, and we expect it to be answered.
A lot of our carriers run one or two trucks. Some signed their authority last month. If your book only wants fleets of fifty, this listing is not for you.
How you earn
Through your own products. You keep your normal commissions on every policy you write. We are not taking a cut of your premiums, we are not selling you leads, and we are not running a rotating list of agencies that bid on the same carrier. One partner, named on our insurance page, with a pipeline that grows as the platform grows. The exact terms get worked out directly with Jesse, in writing, before anything launches.
We are early, and we are honest about that. The platform is live and carriers are joining, but this is a build-it-together arrangement, not a finished firehose of policyholders. The partner we want sees that as the reason to get in now.
What we are looking for
- An insurance company or independent agent who writes commercial trucking lines every day, not as a sideline.
- Licensed in the states our carriers run, or able to get licensed where the freight goes.
- Able to quote a new authority and willing to explain to a first-year owner-operator what they are actually buying.
- Fast on certificates. A carrier waiting on a COI is a carrier not earning, and they remember who made them wait.
- Set up to handle claims with a real person on the phone, because that is the moment a carrier decides if their insurance was worth it.
- Interested in a long partnership. We want the same name on our insurance page in five years.
Experience with factoring companies, ELD data, or carrier onboarding portals helps but is not required. What matters is that small carriers are your business, not your leftovers.
What we provide
The insurance page on our platform as your front door. Routed quote requests instead of bought leads. Placement in our carrier onboarding, so every new carrier sees your name when they hit the insurance requirement. Marketing through our site and our blog. And a team that actually answers its phone, which our carriers will tell you is the reason they came to PDI in the first place.
How to apply
Call or text Jesse Neaves at 254-592-5312, or email Jesse@pdi-industries.com with three things: what you write, where you are licensed, and how you handle a one-truck carrier with a new authority. If the fit looks right, Jesse will set up a call and you will talk terms directly.
